Kekaha Community Garden:
Welcome to The Kekaha Community Garden! Mala'ai o Kekaha.
We are a communal, community-based organic garden. Our mission is to provide land, training and support for people to grow, harvest, and share affordable organic food.
The Kekaha Community Garden is an outreach of the Episcopal Church on West Kauai and is located on the grounds of St. Paul’s Church in Kekaha. Members garden together and share the food; there are no individual plots (Community Grown Agriculture). Training is available for beginning gardeners.
Kekaha Community Garden offers:
• Land - beautiful grounds to garden and grow produce (provided in partnership with the Episcopal Church on West Kauai)
• Training - instruction in diverse methods of organic gardening (provided in partnership with KCC)
• Community - a gathering place for people to come together, deepen relationships and support one another.
• Outreach - KCG will give back to the community through the sharing of food and resources, as well as supporting the development of new gardens, fruit stands, farmer’s markets and food co-ops.
• Hope - KCG is part of an island-wide network promoting food self-sufficiency and economic stability for Kauai (see KCC Community Gardens Project).
If you are interested in learning more about the Garden, or becoming a member, please contact us at kekahagarden@gmail.com OR just stop by on a Sunday afternoon between 4-6 pm when members gather to work on the Garden!
