KEKAHA COMMUNITY GARDEN

Welcome to the Kekaha Community Garden!  Mala'ai o Kekaha.
We are a community-based organic garden.  Our mission is to provide land, training and support for people to grow, harvest, and share affordable organic food.
A Garden Grows in Kekaha
The garden site at St. Paul's is now home to the Growing Good initiative. This project encourages home-based food growing and island self sufficiency by sharing plants and box planters with the island's young working families.

This year we began distributing our planters and provided growing advice to Hawaiian homesteaders and essential worker households. We also shared seedlings this summer with St. Paul's church members.  A new garden layout will improve the site as both a demonstration venue and Bible garden.

New plantings will begin in October.
Contact St. Paul's if interested in volunteering at 808-335-5533.

If you are interested in learning more about the Garden, or becoming a member, please contact us at kekahagarden@gmail.com

Kekaha Community Garden offers:

• Training - instruction in diverse methods of organic gardening (provided in partnership with KCC).

• Community education - a gathering place for people to come together, deepen relationships and support one another.  Also to educate young people about nature and growing local food.
