Bishop of The Episcopal Diocese of Hawai'i


​​Bishop Fitzpatrick was elected as 5th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaiʻi on October 20, 2006 and was ordained as Bishop on March 10, 2007.

Kahu Kerry began serving the Episcopal Church on West Kaua'i on February 6, 2022,  joined with her husband, Peter Joffrion, and their pup Pip. 

​Kahu Kerry has been at ECWK as one of our 'priests-in-residence' several times over the past few years and made a positive impact on our faith community and the community in general during past visits. She has been a frequent volunteer at the KANAKA Hawaiian Charter School in Kekaha, where she has earned the title, "Kahu Kerry." The Hawaiian word 'Kahu' is translated as minister or pastor.

​They hail from Monte Sano, in the northern Alabama hills near Huntsville. She was raised in the Episcopal Church in Southern Appalachia and baptized in the Toccoa River at church camp at 16 years old. Kerry+ holds a Master's in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and is trained in clinical pastoral education. She has experience as rector of an Episcopal church in Montana, where she served for seven years with the Blackfoot tribe. She served for eight years as associate rector in Huntsville, AL.  She has also been pastor and community organizer for the Interfaith Mission Service in Huntsville.

Kerry+ has worked extensively in reconciliation using labyrinth and clinical pastoral practices to assist people who are healing from prolonged trauma. Her non-profit is called Turning Point Group. People who have experienced violence, war, natural disaster, racism have benefitted from Turning Point's healing work. Compassionate care and counseling are her home waters.

Pastor for Ilokano Language Ministries


Ilokano language services resumed Sept. 11, 2022.

Mother Imelda has been flying over from O'ahu on the second Sunday of every month for many years, to lead an Ilokano language service.
